The science behind a bath truffle & why should you use them?
What exactly is a Bath Truffle you ask? I will attempt to explain this awesome creation while stressing the importance of not allowing your eyes 👀 to make you think this is something you should eat.
We all have seen a Bath Bomb at some point in time. We love them, we love the fizz, we love the colors, and we definitely love the smells it leaves in our Bath. A Bath Bomb is basically a Bath fizz loaded with Baking Soda and Citric Acid. When you combine these two ingredients you get a great fizz when added to H2O. Most Bath Bombs only have very little moisturizing properties but they are great for adding excitement to your bath time.
Bath Truffles on the other hand have two of most important used ingredients as a bath bomb but even better. Loaded with great essential oils, body butters, exfoliates , and Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSA ) which finishes with loads off bubbles . Bath Truffles soften your water and leaves your extremely soft. I promise once you try it for the first time you will become a lover of this eloquent, fancy, and diva like product. Most soap makers use an ice cream scooper with to the eye makes it look edible but please I urge you this product is not edible. I have only been in the Soap business for a short period of time but I love love live making Bath Truffles.
Being able to combine great natural products or things that my customers can feel good about using. Going the extra step to combine a great exfoliating ingredient to help relax your muscles from a long hard day. This is by far one of my favorite things to make and we hope you will enjoy a truffle or two .
